We were referred by a family friend who took their infant to see Dr. Perron and we’re so glad they did! I will say he’s not the chiropractor you expect with the satisfying cracks and frankly you almost can’t tell he’s even doing anything but you 100% feel the results and his expertise and that of his team. For 10 years I made 40-mile round trips to my wonderful chiropractor in Washington DC. There was no other chiropractor who came close to helping chronic issues with my neck, back and hips. I love the gentle activator system and at first I wasn’t sure it would really “work” without all the twisting cracking that goes on like other chiropractors. Now, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Update: I have been seeing Dr. Perron for 9 years now. Since then, the adjustments have helped me tremendously. Both he and Dr. Azizi have really listened to my long list of issues and have relieved my chronic pain and fixed the issues that result from me “doing too much”, i.e. lifting things I shouldn’t, stepping off curbs oddly and having my knees to other pains from sitting in front of the computer for work. I went to DR Perron after a friend told me he could help! I was suffering from lower right hip pain and right shoulder pain that kept me from sports, Crossfit and even sitting in chairs. Muscle Pain Due to Pinched Spinal Nerve

About 2 decades ago I began having severe back pain caused by a pinched spinal nerve due to several wrong movemenst. This happened frequently and would cause a week of bed rest. After a few years of this, my wife recommended Dr. Perron to whom she was going. After a few sessions, Dr. Perron successfully realigned the vertebrae in my back and the pain events were gone. I continued going for a couple of years every 8 weeks. After a while with no pain I stopped going. In about 6 months the nerve pinching returned. Since that time I have used his services every eight weeks and have never again experienced a problem. I have recommended Dr. Perron to many friends and they all are very appreciative. I came in with forward head posture due to doing a lot of delivery driver work and using the computer. I’ve previously been doing a lot of meditation and the Feldenkrais Method to work with my posture issues.The treatment schedule they used for me was 3x a week for 4 weeks. I was originally concerned with whether or not the Activator Method would hurt, but it’s very gentle (about the equivalent of flicking your wrist with your forefinger). Each session is very quick (usually less than 10 minutes). After a month, I found that the chiropractic care worked synergistically with my other methods and made it much easier for me to begin to have a healthy curvature in my lower back and my neck.

All of the staff were also very aware of measures to mitigate the current pandemic and are taking great care to keep their office safe for all to visit. Dr. Perron is great at keeping in email contact to keep patients updated about the situation.

Overall I love coming here and always walk out after the session feeling taller.

Thanks to him, I had no problems after a car accident caused whiplash, and that is just one example. He is a respected practitioner, his staff is friendly and efficient, and I have recommended him to many other people.

Hi my name is Cecil. I have been a patient of Perron Chiropractic for about 5 years. I highly recommend them. I have had many symptoms that I would normally have taken medicine or seen another doctor for that have been successfully treated by chiropractic care Things such as heartburn and other digestive symptoms that were treated as reflux previously. Plantar FasciitisI had been suffering with plantar fasciitis for a number of years. Initially, it was recommended that I get orthotics for my feet. So I went to a podiatrist and had a custom made pair for my feet. This was great for about 5 years but then I started having pain again. I went to a different podiatrist and had a new pair of orthotics made and again was good for a little while. When the pain returned, I went to a third podiatrist and underwent some treatments over a period of time without relief. Surgery was an option but not a guarantee.

I heard about Dr. Perron’s practice from my daughter-in-law and decided to give it a try. I had never been to a chiropractor before and had never even heard of an activator. I had the initial appointment back in January of 2014 and found out how out of alignment I was. After some number of appointments to get myself adjusted, Dr. Perron gave me some exercises and follow up treatments which resolved my plantar fasciitis pain. And I didn’t even have to wear the orthotics anymore! I was very grateful not to have this pain any longer. And to this day, I no longer have that pain.

Dr. Perron has also helped me with lower back pain issues that I have had from time to time. These lower back issues were very painful and Dr. Perron’s efforts have proved beneficial on multiple occasions.

For many years I have visited Perron Chiropractic in Reston, near the Reston Town Center, when on rare occasions I have experienced repetitive headaches, vertigo, sciatica, lower back pain, etc. Dr. Chris Perron has earned my trust and respect as most often one visit and the use of an activator, tapping here and their while checking the alignment of my spine, took away the pain!!! Bravo Dr. Perron!!! Personally, I don’t like chiropractors who believe in twisting and popping the body to adjust it, but truly respect and have been helped by those who know how to adjust the body using an activator to remove pain!

On Thursday, January 27th, I visited Dr. Perron’s office as I was experiencing repetitive headaches. Dr. Perron was not in the office that day, so I was adjusted by the other doctor. The next day I still was experiencing headaches, took my headache medicine, and used a warm neck wrap to attempt to alleviate the pain. Headaches returned and the snow started to fall. Since I had recently fallen and broken my wrist, I did not feel safe venturing out in the snow. On Monday, January 31st, after a physical therapy appoint for my wrist, I called Dr. Perron’s office and told them I was still experiencing many headaches and needed to stop this repetitive, painful cycle. I was in pain! I was told some song and dance that I would have to pay for another adjustment! Seriously!!!

When I take my car into the shop and they fix it, I don’t expect it to have the same problem during the next week!!! And if it does, they need to provide Good Customer Service and FIX IT WITHOUT CHARGING ME AGAIN!!! If I purchase a product from ANY store and it doesn’t work, I return it and EXPECT A FULL REFUND or a New Item that is not a Lemon! That is Quality Customer Service where they care more about FIXING THE PROBLEM AND RETAINING THE RESPECT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS RATHER THAN JUST BE CONCERNED ABOUT CHARGING ME FOR A RETURN VISIT WHEN IT WASN’T RESOLVED DURING MY FIRST VISIT!!!

I first started going to Dr. Perron about seven years ago for back pain. It was my first experience with the activator technique but as a retired engineer, I understood the benefits of this approach. He quickly fixed my back problems and then asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I had been seeing an orthopedist for knee pain for more than a year, and after MRI ’s, cortisone injections and heavy doses of anti-inflamatories, I still wasn’t able to play tennis without pain. Dr. Perron found that my tibia was out of alignment and fixed it and gave me some exercises to keep it aligned. Within a week, I was back on the tennis court pain-free. I’ve continued to see him for all non-athletic pains; he has helped my thumb pain from lifting my grandchildren under their arms, my ankle pain from sitting too low at my computer and resting the side of my foot on the ground, jaw pain from biting something too hard and it goes on and on. This past summer I woke up one night suffering from odd symptoms including numbness and tingling in my arms, a stiff neck and pain in my right shoulder. I am a Covid 19 SURVIVOR and it has been quite the journey with 103 degree fever, full blown flu symptoms, which lead to a 911 call, an Ambulance Ride to Reston Hospital, an 8 Day Stay, which included an initial Super Cocktail of Antibiotics that literally knocked the Covid Virus symptoms out of my system so that I felt terriffic the very next day!!!

However, I did not realize I had Covid Germs in my lungs! The best way to get rid of those Gems is to lay flat on your stomach/chest for 6 hours on and off each day / 24 hours!!! Thankfully, 8 Days Later the Doctor gave me a High Five and a Congratulations before being released with a Clean bill of health and lots of antibodies!

I came in to see Dr. Perron because I had moved some boxes at home and my back muscles were tight. When I told him that I was a Covid Virus Survivor and that my pulse was High, he thanked me for telling him and performed his “Magic” with an activator to release the constricted muscles around my lungs!!! Now when I check my Oxygen and Pulse with my Pulse/Ox device, my Pulse is Much Lower than before!! My pulse was registering at 97 to 107 which is way TOOOOO HIGH! Now it shows 82!!! That’s Huge!!! I herniated my L5-S1 a few years ago and between my back being locked up and the painful sciatica, I thought I was headed for physical retirement at age 49. When my son was struggling to communicate with us at 2.5, I took him to having his hearing checked and found out he had fluid on his ears that was affecting his ability to hear. I was happy to have an answer and a solution – we scheduled surgery to have tubes placed with the ENT. Enter Covid – While my son’s condition was definitely not urgent, it was devastating to be told we would need to wait several more months to help him hear normally and improve his speech. We decided to give chiropractic care a try while we waited, and I am so glad we did!

After just a handful of visits, my son’s speech began to really improve! He was able to say more words, he was listening better at daycare, and his speech was so much clearer! At the end of the summer we decided to have his hearing checked again to make sure the fluid really was gone. We wanted that concrete evidence and we were not disappointed. After visiting several other Sports Orthopedists, chiropracters, etc., I find the most beneficial treatement at Dr. Perron’s office. I often am sitting at a computer desk all day, and working out regularly in the evening. The problem is that due to a gym injury I had suffered 5 years ago, I was having severe IT-band issues as well as pinched nerves running all the way from my lower right back thru down my left leg to the point of it going numb just walking. Dr. Perron was able to diagnose, identify, and treat the respective muscle groups in quick sessions with advise to continue work-out regimens, but alternate other daily activities such as even simple things like how to get in/out of the car. Between the treatment and multiple pieces of advise, I was able to gain full recovery within roughly 8 weeks of treatment, astounding given the lack of success I had within same timetable at other practicing offices. I highly recommend him and while some sessions seem extremely brief for muscle groups honed on, but it’s worth it in the “long” run.

I am writing this on behalf of my wife Nukhet Ozcan. She was told that she had TMJ(joint between upper and lower jaw) issue and she needed surgery after she had visit to her dentist. Dr. Perron is the best! He changed my life! A very comfortable environment. I started seeing him in early 2014 (my senior year in high school) because of severe daily migraines I was getting due to multiple concussions. I had been dealing with these migraines for about 2 years at the time and they had become a regular thing in my everyday life. I went to a neuro-psychologist, vestibular therapist, neuro-ophthamologist among other different types of doctors and suffered through many different tests: cognitive tests, MRI’s and CT scans and more. Every doctor I saw told me they couldn’t explain these severe headaches, and planned to put me on multiple different medications to control this but I refused. I was ready to try anything. After being recommended by my nutritionist Terri Cochrane, I started seeing him about 3 times a week. He explained to me that the bones that make the skull were out of alignment and pinching on nerves giving me theses awful headaches. After about a month I wasn’t getting headaches anymore, and now almost 3 years later I haven’t suffered from these “concussion migraines”. There was a time I wasn’t sure if I would be able to go to college because of my condition. I can’t express how helpful it would have been to know sooner about Dr. Perron and how activator chiropractic care changes lives earlier in my life. I only wish there were more chiropractors like him around the US.

For the past few weeks I’ve been dealing with intense neck and shoulder pain. Like literally, natural childbirth was easier than this. Desperate, I reached out to a few trusted friends for advice and Dr. Perron was their top recommendation.

One thing to note — I’ve never been to a chiropractor before and I have a bunch of family of medical background who are highly skeptical of chiropractors but I was desperate.

One trip in and my whole mind was completely changed. I was taken in by Lateicha and Dr. Azizi who took the time to explain the entire process (they use the activator method which is a lot more gentle and precise than manual adjustment) and what was causing my pain. When it came to the adjustment it took ten minutes and I literally felt better within seconds. I was being adjusted the same time as another new patient and when we both walked to our cars we talked in amazement about how much better we immediately felt.

Appointments are easy to make and while they are out of network with insurance they handle the whole process for you. I’ve been back twice and while I’m not fully there yet (I am guessing it’s going to take more than a few trips to fix years of bad posture and habits!) at least I am not in gripping pain every moment of the day.

It is not easy for me to get out to Reston … at all… but I’ll definitely be back! My husband who is typically doubtful of all alternative medicine already wants me to make an appointment for him since he’s seen the miracle work the doctors here have performed on me!

I have tried more than several different chiropractors in the past. But I never found a chiropractor who could really fix my issues. When I heard about Dr. Perron from one of my friends first time, I said to myself that their office was too far from my home. Even though I heard about Dr. Perron from several peoples, I still didn’t go to there right away.

But one day when my pains on my body became totally out of control that nothing helped me to stand straight due to injuries from my past car accident, I finally went to his office. Of course, my condition was really bad, so I had to go there many times to fix my issues. But I could tell difference in my condition after I visited Dr. Perron first time. I had much less pains and my body felt closer to normal position than before I visited him.

If you are used to go to a regular chiropractor, you may feel strange him using the activator, but it worked for me. Because it’s much gentle approach comparing to regular chiropractic methods, I recommend you to try.

Wonderful atmosphere
Dr. Perron, Dr. Azizi, Diana and Carrie are welcoming and open to questions and concerns.

I came in with forward head posture due to doing a lot of delivery driver work and using the computer. I’ve previously been doing a lot of meditation and the Feldenkrais Method to work with my posture issues.
The treatment schedule they used for me was 3x a week for 4 weeks. I was originally concerned with whether or not the Activator Method would hurt, but it’s very gentle (about the equivalent of flicking your wrist with your forefinger). Each session is very quick (usually less than 10 minutes). After a month, I found that the chiropractic care worked synergistically with my other methods and made it much easier for me to begin to have a healthy curvature in my lower back and my neck.

All of the staff were also very aware of measures to mitigate the current pandemic and are taking great care to keep their office safe for all to visit. Dr. Perron is great at keeping in email contact to keep patients updated about the situation.

Overall I love coming here and always walk out after the session feeling taller.

This man is a miracle worker. I started going here for a backache, but Dr. Perron has helped me with so much more. At least once a year I would rush to the nearest Urgent Care for piercing earaches due to allergies. Now, as soon as I feel one coming on, I get an adjustment and I am set. (I don’t even have to take Claritin anymore.) Same with cramps: I used to get debilitating cramps and down Midol like candy during my period. Now I go in for an adjustment, and I go out cramp and Midol free.

Dr. Perron is no ordinary chiropractor. He uses an instrument called an Activator which is much more gentle and effective than conventional cracking or popping. Because of the instrument, he can adjust areas of your body that I haven’t found other chiropractors to be able to get to or specialize in (knees, ankles, coxis, head plates…just to name a few of the spots he’s adjusted on me!)

At first I was a little hesitant about the set-up of the office. (You are adjusted in an open room with a couple of other patients around you.) But I have noticed that the absence of walls helps you not get tossed and forgotten about in a room while you wait for the doctor. You’re in and out of the office in 20 minutes or less. I also love that as an existing patient, I don’t need an appointment if I’m nearby and in pain (you can just walk in and get adjusted).

MIRACLE. WORKER. Face your fears about chiropractors and get in and see this guy. LIFE CHANGED FOREVER!

I was a patient of Dr. Perron’s a few years ago. I am thankful that I found Dr. Perron because after suffering an accident that caused me to have a herniated disc and finding out that I also had degenerative disc disease and arthritis I was really hopeless before I discovered Dr. Perron.

After researching surgery and discovering how dangerous that would be, I tried acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, laser therapy and electrotherapy, nothing worked.

I discovered Dr. Perron and I have to admit the things that are done with a little clicky instrument called the activator don’t seem to be something that could actually relieve my pain, but it worked.

Dr. Perron and his staff are very friendly and genuine. I haven’t been in a few years and it’s definitely not a situation where you go a few times and you’re cured for life but it sure beats surgery.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone with chronic back pain. The only downside is that my insurance and possibly other insurance companies don’t like to pay out for chiropractors.

Having seen multiple chiropractors in Fairfax County over the past 4 years, I find myself driving back out to Reston despite living a 25-minute drive away. I’ve seen chiropractors who use a more, what I think of as “traditional” hands-on manipulation of the bones, as well as those who use an actuator device that’s on a sort of “repeat” with some type of computer chip that reads the vibrations of the bones.

Dr. Perron and his staff are kind, unassuming, and confident that the care they offer is different and unique. This sets them apart from the rest of the pack without them feeling the need to sell you on what they have to offer.

Being a full time dance teacher, I know that keeping the body in check is crucial! When I come in with my odd descriptions of my shoulders feeling “stuck” or my ankle feeling like it has extra “space” in it, Dr. Perron is able to decipher and translate my descriptions into treatment that results in me walking out of his office taller, in better alignment, and with significantly less pain then I entered with.

I’ve been a patient off and on since about 2013. I had a hard fall onto my tailbone plus 4 years of living in a high stress third world work environment when I first saw Dr Perron. In the beginning I was going very frequently and paying a lot out of pocket per visit. I immediately felt better though so kept going. Over the years he has fixed tendinitis type shoulder pain and and plantar fasciitis/jacked up toes. I now go for more “maintenance” type visits and I primarily see young Dr. Azizi who is new. I was annoyed in the past when Dr Perron, being a one may show, would have to close the office due to leave or out of state commitments, so bringing on a second Dr was a great and convenient move if you ask me. Dr Azizi seems to hit more problem areas more reliably than Dr Perron. The office staff are all nice and professional, and getting an appointment over the phone is easy. Their parking lot is spacious and the bathroom is tidy.

My back was very, very messed up for over a year and Dr. Perron fixed it in less than a month! After the first appointment I was able to walk to my car without pain for the first time in a long time. Because my muscles had been out of place & not working correctly for such a long time, it took a few months for my body to get used to doing what it was supposed to do, but each appointment brought some relief. He was also able to help with some other, unrelated little pains in other parts of my body that I thought I’d just have to live with forever.

He uses the activator method, not the usual “twist-n-crack” that I was used to. I really didn’t see how this gentle pressing could possibly get my vertebrae & pelvis back in place, but it did. And I feel it is much safer. I don’t worry about a blood clot suddenly being released & causing a stroke as I’ve read about with traditional chiropractors. And this method doesn’t cause pulled muscles, as the chiropractor I saw before him did. I don’t fear new disc herniations, as, again, the previous chiropractor caused. There isn’t the satisfaction of the sudden “pop”, but this really does work. The method has more to do with nerves & muscles than bones; it’s really amazing & so is he.

Everyone who works here is great. They’re very nice & helpful. They don’t take insurance, but will help you if you want to get reimbursed by your insurance company. I like that my treatment isn’t being dictated by my insurance. And the cost is about the same as my copay would be anyway.

I don’t live near Reston, but it is worth the drive. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Dr. Perron came into my life after a long year long search to find why I wasn’t walking at 32 years old. I found myself on sudden disability from extreme pain when walking and standing that was seemingly out of nowhere. Always very athletic, I never saw my self in this situation, I must say.
At my wits end I was directed finally to get a spinal cord stimulator in my back to “numb” the pain in my legs and feet as after months of problem solving, doctors/nurses and chiropractors alike were stumped by my condition.

I had a friend that told me about Dr. Perron immediately before this procedure was scheduled and truly, I wasn’t thinking it was even worth it. After all, I’d been to so many chiropractors. I soon found that Dr. Perron was different.

Dr. Perron is unlike any chiropractor I’ve ever been to. Upon finding Dr. Perron just one year ago, I was in my darkest hour. Unable to walk and on disability for the 6th month at 32 years old.

Plantar Fasciitis

I had been suffering with plantar fasciitis for a number of years. Initially, it was recommended that I get orthotics for my feet. So I went to a podiatrist and had a custom made pair for my feet. This was great for about 5 years but then I started having pain again. I went to a different podiatrist and had a new pair of orthotics made and again was good for a little while. When the pain returned, I went to a third podiatrist and underwent some treatments over a period of time without relief. Surgery was an option but not a guarantee.

I heard about Dr. Perron’s practice from my daughter-in-law and decided to give it a try. I had never been to a chiropractor before and had never even heard of an activator. I had the initial appointment back in January of 2014 and found out how out of alignment I was. After some number of appointments to get myself adjusted, Dr. Perron gave me some exercises and follow up treatments which resolved my plantar fasciitis pain. And I didn’t even have to wear the orthotics anymore! I was very grateful not to have this pain any longer. And to this day, I no longer have that pain.

Dr. Perron has also helped me with lower back pain issues that I have had from time to time. These lower back issues were very painful and Dr. Perron’s efforts have proved beneficial on multiple occasions.

When I discovered Dr. Perron in 2012, I was reluctant to visit a chiropractor because I was under the mistaken impression that once you start going to one, you have to keep it up or the pain comes back. However, Dr. Perron’s logical and scientific approach impressed me from the first visit; he explained that if I’m doing everything I should and if the body is getting what it needs in terms of alignment (exercise, posture, etc), chiropractic visits should be infrequent—every couple of months—just to check in and make sure things are OK. Even his explanation of the activator method (which removes a lot of the risk and guesswork associated with manual manipulation) made sense.

After a month or two of frequent treatment for initial neck pain from sleeping funny, we expanded to months between treatments with little adjusting required at each visit. I’ve been astounded at the issues Dr. Perron has since been able to resolve. The one that most stands out was when I injured my knee skiing. I heard an audible pop when the injury occurred and was sure my knee would never be the same. Soon after, I learned I was pregnant. Multiple physical therapists told me I might need surgery but couldn’t have an MRI because I was expecting. I was living out of the area at the time but able to get to Dr. Perron’s office while on a trip back—after months of pain—and the pain was gone after just two adjustments. I didn’t need surgery, and it hasn’t bothered me again.

I tell people that if I only read the claims on Dr. Perron’s website of what chiropractic care can help with, I’d conclude that it was stretching the truth a bit—at best. But, I have experienced relief from the following symptoms over the years: sinus headaches, cough, constipation, acid reflux, foot pain, leg pain, and a multitude of pregnancy-related symptoms such as round ligament pain, symphysis pubis dysfunction, and carpal tunnel. I’m active and healthy but was in the office multiple times per week during my second pregnancy with various ailments; I think that helped me have an easier recovery from my c-section. When I was faced with an issue this practice does not specialize in (turning a breech baby), Dr. Azizi was upfront and referred me to another chiropractor who had experience with it. Now that pregnancy isn’t pushing my body to new limits, I’m back to the usual twice-monthly visits.

After having a positive experience with our own treatments, my husband and I decided to bring our three-year-old and newborn infant in. It’s difficult to say for sure what did it, but our newborn has less gas pain than her brother did, who did not have chiropractic treatment as a baby. I would not be comfortable bringing my baby or toddler to a chiropractor who uses manual manipulation but had zero concerns with the activator method.

In the few treatments our three-year-old has had, we’ve seen positive changes in a bout of recurrent strep throat; several occasions when he seemed like he was getting sick (low grade fever, increased potty accidents) but then didn’t; and even one instance when an adjustment helped decrease tantrums. I’ve learned to bring him in whenever he seems like he’s coming down with something or just not himself. Both Dr. Azizi and Dr. Perron are transparent; sometimes they find something out of place, and other times we surmise that his behavior is just normal three-year-old stuff. The entire team makes him feel so welcome that he routinely asks me if we can go to the “tickle doctor.”

I cannot recommend this practice enough. They listen to your concerns, respond with answers that make sense, and help you feel your best. Before coming here, I assumed random aches were a normal part of life; now I know it’s your body talking to you, and even small pains should not be ignored. I mention any ailments when I’m in because odds are they have a solution. Dr. Perron, Dr. Azizi, and his staff (Carrie and Diana) are professional, genuine, empathetic, transparent, and I trust them completely.
